Sources within the National Defence and Canadian Forces (DND/CF) have reported that the Armed Forces are going to spend as much as $1 billion on acquiring Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).

Peter MacCay, the Canadian defence minister claimed today that the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) is actively considering the use of Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) for its operations in near future.
